Because of this, we’ve made a significant investment in adding Dutch Perfect no puncture tyres to our fleet of hire cycles.
Dutch perfect are the only anti-puncture bicycle tyre with double security and withstand punctures with a wheel pressure of 100kg.
Featuring a genuine anti-puncture logo, all our tyres now have a tough and flexible layer which is resistant to sharp objects under the tread.
Cornwall is known for it’s beautiful countryside, but just to be on the safe side, the tyres are resistant to street impurities such as glass splinters, gravel, shells and drawing pins.
The tyres combine a puncture-proof tyre with a low rolling resistance through the new build of the tyre and the use of new materials. This applies to different surfaces such as roads, paths, asphalt, cobbles, tiles, shells and slag.
Underneath the tyre there is a harder breaker layer, which breaks thorns. The tyres are also super-light moving: approximately 25% less rolling resistance due to a special profile and a specially chosen layer structure.
